In 2020 we were in the Texas Live area and was a bit underwhelmed. Many places do not open till 5pm on Friday and there was high Shool playoff games at the old Rangers Ballpark. So it got real crowded after maybe 6pm. Service was hit or miss at a few of the bars we were at.

It was strange and wonderful in 2020. Strange because COVID caused limitations everywhere. Wonderful because unexpected things happened, such as the party at Mavericks.

This time, it will be more normal in terms of having more choices and not being limited in terms of COVID capacity. Hoping to find another local treasure.

12oz are probably $6-7. $20 would be your 32oz.

The real kicker is on big weekends they usually charge a cover to get in and if you want a table where the big 100 foot screen is, there is usually a $50min per person on top of that. Not sure if they’ll do that Friday though but definitely will do it Saturday.

It’s fun if you set the expectations right mentally cost wise but definitely spendy by Central Iowa standards.

Power and light were 20 bucks for 32s so that isnt a big deal. The $50 table cover charge seems steep but a 10 cover or so seems to be not a big deal (if it’s in that area). Even some local bars for holidays and other bigger events will hit you 5-10 cover and all you get is the same old same old.

Really enjoyed watching high school football games in AT&T stadium in 2020, especially when they would score in the Iowa State end zone. But that won't be until two more weeks in 2024.

I'm waiting for events to be posted. So far it's been tough to find anything.

Only thing I know for sure is the WeWill thing at 4pm at Texas Live.

I'd expect that the DFW alumni club would have something. B12 itself have anything? Pep rally?

I know it's only Monday, but so far it's been frustratingly crickets.

Shared a screenshot of the ticket confirmation. I have them listed on Seat Geek and StubHub,. But those platforms charge significant fees to the buyer and seller. Thought finding fans who are looking for tickets here would be worthwhile to save people money. Let me know what other info I can provide.

Reason people want proof is there have been a few scammers that would create names, take money and then not have actual tickets. Happened a little too often and they were always new posters.
