So this was my first time looking up Big 12 only stats from their website and after seeing all the categories, I'm very impressed with our team. It seems like 70% of the team categories, we rank in the top 3 in the conference. I'm most impressed with scoring offense and rebounding...if we can keep that up things look good for the remainder of the year...
In the individual player categories, I'm surprised at the number of guys we have representing us! We have 4 of the top 20 in overall scoring leaders in Niang, Ejim, Clyburn and McGee. We have the leading rebounder in the conference (Ejim), along with 3 of the top 15 leaders in assists and 3 pointers made...
I can't wait to see how the next 2 weeks goes...we most definitely have the opportunity to win this conference if we keep up the good work...
