I don't use anti-virus software personally but I have a friend that just bought a PC for her kids and needs to get some installed. Which do you all prefer? I've heard AVG is good but I've never used it.

Im don't know what is better or worse but I use Avast which is free and haven't had any problems. I have a few friends that use it as well and haven't had any problems.

I have Avast on the laptop and AVG on this desk top, they both seem to do a good job. Not sure if one is more of a memory hog than the other, but I have no complaints with either.

Best Anti-Virus Protection?

I just recently got a new Dell computer. It came with a month free of Norton Internet Security. My month is way past up and I know I need anti-virus protection and some computer maintenance program. Is Norton the best value? I used to have Norton System works on my old computer and had to renew the anti-virus for $20/year then rasied to $30/year I believe.

I was looking at getting Norton 360. I see it is $60/year or $115/2years. Am I seeing this wrong, is the yearly renewal always going to be $60/year verses the old $30/year or would I be getting more than just anti-virus. Please help.

All I really want is anti-virus and an occasional tune-up. Is System Works still around? What is my best option?
