Unless it's being roasted with some exotic seasonings, you should be fine with most of the suggestions here. I would maybe try something like a Bell's Amber Ale.

Assuming goats taste something like they smell, I'd drink plenty of whatever you go with before eating.

Porkchops don't taste anything like hog **** smells like, so I am guessing the same is probably true about goat meat...:rolleyes:

While I have never had goat, I would assume that it's a bit "gamier" than other meats, in which case I agree with others who have suggested a darker beer. On the cheap end I would say Michelob Amber Bock on the higher end of the scale you should give Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale a shot.

I saw this in the tailgate policies. Is this new? I've been drinking bottled beer at tailgates for years and have never had a problem.

I think it's always been there, but I've wondered if anybody has ever gotten hassled by it. I drank some glass bottles last year and nobody said anything. Though the can harvesters left them, which I can't fault them for. :laugh:
