I was surprised KU didn't jump them with the easy win they had and BU's struggles in both games on their home floor. Plus the fact that, well, they are Freaking KU.

Congrats to Baylor. That is pretty cool. Hope someday their fan base realizes how good of coach they have in Drew.

1. Baylor deserves their #1 ranking.

2. IMO, Baylor finishes out of the top 15 by year end. Not a fan of their guard play at all. Their bigs can only do so much. Medford/Chery were far superior IMO to anything they have this season.

I think they have realized it far sooner than any of us have.

I think you are right but their lack of attendance pisses me off. Good consistent teams that deserve better support than they get.

Crazy how it's a game of inches. Right now across the nation the consensus on ISU is that they're a good team but nothing special. We beat Gonzaga, Baylor, and Cincy, and we're most likely top 10. However, good teams seem to know how to close at the end of a game.

I see ISU climbed to #28. Win two road games this week and we could sneak back in with some losses. Then really have a chance to bump up against KU. I know I know, beat OSU first...

That's true for most everyone, not only ISU.

30 for 30.....what if I told you a team would have a player murder a teammate and then rebuild to be the best in the nation

Texas is just different than the Midwest... Let me put it this way... today when Men's Basketball is #1 in the Nation for the first time in History, there were 1000 people on the Football board and 300 on the Basketball Board... We don't even have a Wrestling Board!!!!!!

Baylor has been ok on Saturday games, but counts way too heavily on alumni in Austin/San Antonio, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Greater Houston driving 2-5 hours to Waco in order to get a full house on Tuesday/Wednesday games. Believe me, it pisses me off too.

Saturday's game vs. Okie Lite was maximum capacity and students were turned away by the fire marshal. It tied a Ferrell Center Record. KU game is already sold out... Texas is really close and a pretty much guaranteed sellout...

Well to be fair you don't have wrestling so that is probably part of it.

Yeah I know... I coach High School Wrestling... Wish we did have it... great sport...

Just an example of how different things are in Texas... Seriously, if we win it all on the first Monday in April, there will still be more people on the Football Board than the Basketball Board...

50/50 at best

I had the chance to come down last year, your student section was pretty good for our game. Enjoyed you fan base, good friendly people who were nice when asking for directions and recommendations. It was a great trip other than the game:rolleyes:.

Congrats, Bears. That is a heck of a team. Hopefully they can get it done and knock KU off of their perch this season.

The only school I want knocking KU off their perch is ISU. KU can win 100 straight, I dont care. I just want ISU to be the one to end it.

Also, Baylor will lose at WVU this week, but will beat KSU bu 10ish. KU will win both. ISU will face #1 KU in Hilton a week from tonight, and if ISU can win both this week, will be in the Top 25.
