My roommate and I were at Welch Ave Station last night and got to thinking about how people thought we should do Staiger Bombs after every Lucca 3. We thought we should do one for every player with a few rules. Here are our drink suggestions so far:

Vegas Bomb=Brackins dunk (he is 21/blackjack)
Flaming Blue Jesus= Hamilton dunk
Templeton Rye= Pomlee Rebound
Between the sheets= Garret Score
Old Fashioned= Dorr shoots (old fashioned=walk on)
ButterCrown= JVB 3
Quick Screw= Colvin steal
Whisker Biscuit= Gilstrap Dunk (he has a stache)
SoCo Lime= Dendy Dunk
Jager Shot= Buckley Assist (deer blood/buck blood)
****** off Japanese Minnow Farmer= Boozer 3 ( it has 10 boozes in it)
Raped Nun= Chistopherson 3 ( He left Marquette)
Brooklyn Hooker= McDermott Technical (tastes like a Big Mac)

A Reach Around= An and one making the free throw

**** yeah= ISU Win
Mind Eraser= ISU Loss

Attitude Adjustment= Any Technical fould

So far are rules are each half we will roll dice for two of the events (i.e a brackins dunk/ garrett score). Then we will roll again to make a limit how many times it can happen (b/c 10 lucca bombs is too much), but we need to keep some options open all game like a Dorr shot and an And One. So we were just wondering if anyone had any better ideas for this game.

The bartenders at Welch Avenue Station(best bar ever) said they would lets us bring them a list and play along with us. So just looking for comments or suggestions. Thanks!

You'd have to pick one or two of those for an entire game. If you did that, it would be very feesable.

I remember back in the day when the Ravens won the Super bowl with Trent Dilfer we had a drinking game going on. there was 1 rule about finishing your beer on every punt ... they set a Super Bowl record for # of punts ... it damn near killed us and only a few saw the end of the game.

STAIGER BOMB!

And Templeton Rye should be a more common occurrence than an LA rebound...

A bunch of guys when I was in school would watch Bears game together and any time the name "Urlacher" was said they would take a drink. They would be pretty messed up by the end of the game.
Also heard of it being done with Favre in old GB games. Not sure I could make it through a game doing that anymore.

I think I could do it but the trick would be to keep someone sober to remind all those playing of the rules

I could only imagine how bad a Favre game would be with Madden in the booth. I'd be wasted before he took his first snap.

The thing is with rolling the dice you pick the two things that regularly happen(lucca 3) then you roll one dye again to see the limit, so the most you will be doing is 6. Yes it would be impossible to do them all physically and financially, but every game it would change based on the roll of the dice. Basically I just wondered if there were any better ideas for drinks or rules.

Nothing to do with this but my favorite drinking game of all time was played either when we were playing Silverstrike or really bowling. Anytime somebody would bowl 3 strikes in a row we all had to take a shot of Wild Turkey 101!!! My friends hated me b/c I actually don't mind it but they absolutely hated Turkey. At first some of them would intentionally throw gutter balls to avoid the 3rd strike but then we added a rule that you had to do a 3 wisemen anytime you threw a gutter ball. Good Times... Well for some of us anyway

My roommates and I once played a drinking game to watching women's basketball.. Every time a player falls down, you take a drink. Try it some time, you'll get pretty drunk.

A buddy of mine decided we'd do a pull of tequila on every 1st down that Iowa State got against Florida State when they played in KC. Thinking that there wouldn't be many! To our surprise we don't remember the 2nd half!!!
I like the ideas but not sure if this team will need drinking games to get me through it. They are a lot of fun to watch!

Be happy you don't remember the second half, particularly a certain play...

You should do it for missed layups, because as an old buddy would say "it's not womens basketball without a missed layup"
