im a Red Sox fan and if Rivera is not unanimous, they should take voting rights away from those that didn’t vote for him.

Anxious to see if Mike Mussina makes it

Testifying
I am a little suprised Edgar got that high of % on his first ballot.
I still think McGriff is very under rated.

Glad Mussina made it. He pitched 200 innings and won 20 for the Yanks his last season and and than retired with 270 wins. He could have hung around to chase 300 wins but didn't. Heck, his ERA his last year was 3.37. He just never had a bunch of 20-win season, just average in at 15/year.

Mo shouldn't have been the first unanimous selection but he is very deserving of a unanimous selection.

Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for the attitudes of "iF jOE ScHmOe waSN't a uNaniMoUs FirSt bAlLoT ThEn tHis gUy cAN't bE!"

Good to see Rivera got the respect he deserved. Baseball writers who vote on this are such ******* hacks who typically deny anyone a first ballot entry solely on principle, nice to see they finally got one right.
