Bar Trivia in Des Moines or Ames?

Keg Stand used to have a pretty decent trivia night during the week, not sure if they still do it but worth checking out
I know they do different things at the Des Moines Social Cub. Team trivia, adult spelling bees, etc.

West Towne Pub has bar trivia on wednesday nights, teams of 2. They have 3 rounds per hour and the winning team gets a free beer. I believe it runs from 7-11. Its all done over an app though, some people like live interaction if thats you then west towne isnt the place
Victors in Urbandale did trivia at one point. I haven't been there in a while, but I'm guessing they still do.

The Mucky Duck just had their first trivia night last night. They said they would have one every Monday night.
Keg Stand is on Thursday's and can be a pretty good time. I believe it starts at 8:30. The guy who used to do it had a really short fuse and would just go absolutely ballistic on people if they blurted out the answer. The newer guy was completely clueless when we went and gave us and another team the same number so we were double answering. He said since he didn't know which team was which, he couldn't give either of us points. Then he told my wife she just needed to sit down and not worry about it.
So aside from that and the general fact that Keg Stand has a bit of a urine smell to it, its a good time (especially if you have a group) and I enjoy playing.
