Any safe-ish places to watch the game tomorrow in Iowa City? A few friends and I are going tomorrow and was curious if there's any Cyclone-ish bars out there? Or are we just ****ed?

We went to BDubs in downtown in 2012 and it turned out to be a lot of fun. Fans traded their friendly smack talk during the game but it was in jest. Get there early because it can fill up quick.

Lived in Iowa City for 6 years. There are no Cyclone bars. BWW in Coralville is the closest thing.

Best thing is the broadcast will be ESPN, no homers.

I might be in Solon at Big Grove. Friends are UI fans that are tailgating, and plan to go there before game time. But we're only about 10% confident of being able to get a spot. And if we do, it's liable to be 90%+ Hox. But just to give you some hope. Look for a bald guy in ISU gear with a bunch of Hawk fans.

The beer is good at Big Grove, so ya got that goin for ya.
