I realize most cyclone fans like to lament that it is only us that gets screwed, but thought the following recent developments were "interesting."

KSU - Wally Judge - indefinite leave. McD's AA who's pretty much a bust so far, suspended.

Mizz - Starting PG Dixon suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules.

KU - Mario Little - arrested last night, charged with battery.

NU - German center likely to quit and (try to) go pro.

That's quite a list the last 48 hours!!

Yikes. Time to steal some wins and crawl back to the top half!

Wow that is a big list. And it could be very good for us as we play all these teams twice.

Judge has not really reached his potential, and I'd love it if he transferred from K-State without sticking around as an upperclassmen and probably improving.

Dixon... the word is at least that it isn't anything serious. If it is that would be a big blow to the Tigers.

Little - well we can use all the help we can get against KU.

The big German leaving is absolutely huge for us! Anything to help make up for our deficiencies down low. Could be the difference in beating Nebraska on the road?

Two former ISU recruits on this list in Dixon and Little.

Guarantee that anyone currently suspended will have their suspension lifted immediately before we play them. Happens every time.

Jeff Caple is identicle to Greg Mcdermott. None of his players seem to like to stay there. He will get fired in 1-2 years. They are going to be horrible next year and they are not really that good this year.
OU is not a basketball school.

What gets me about Capel is that its not like he turned into a recruiting maven to land Blake Griffin....Taylor Griffin was already on the team when he got the job, and Blake wanted to play BOTH years with Taylor!

And how Capel managed to convince HB that he was "turning OU around" always cracked me up - OU was already a very accomplished program thanks to Tubbs and Sampson. Capel has made it worse!

Another one bites the dust - KU's Mario Little is sitting in jail in Lawrence for allegedly beating up his girlfriend.

Mario little was very close to being a Cyclone.

Also OU is not a basketball school. Nobody goes to there games. The record says they do well in basketball normally. It's just nota school that anyone down in Oklahoma cares about when it comes to basketball. They are like Iowa.

Re: Mario Little in Jail

Didn't Dunn do this and get a 3 game suspension......... Sounds like a pretty good punishment. :policeman:
I remember there being some strange details surrounding the Dunn deal. Something like his girlfriend said he didnt do it on purpose, but her dad thought he did...something like that. I think that is why it went from being really serious at the beginning to not that big of a deal (as far as assulting women goes... )
