I have been contacted by a recruiting firm out of Arizona regarding what he says "will be the largest construction project in the US" somewhere in Texas. I don't have anymore information than that yet but I was wondering if anyone knew of anything big going on down there. I wasn't too interested at the time but now I am going to entertain the offer at least since we are looking at our first layoffs in quite a few years for the Jan-Mar time frame.

Something from the hurricane perhaps?
I know a guy that is coming back next weeked from 8 weeks down there rebuilding.
Otherwise could be road construction? Aren't they building some sort of superhighway through there?

I'm working on the structure of a 54000 square foot assisted living facility, but nothing huge.

It will be the new George W. Bush library.

This or the job mentioned at the top would both be a pretty cool opportunity to be a lead technician on, if the compensation is right and they offer to fly me back monthly for Guard.
