You are looking for stock tips on a web-site that people blog because it's free and most of us are too cheap to sign up for one that cost money?????

I am not sure if this is the crowd you want this kind of info from!

LOL, you are right on, but, hey, it is off-topic, so anything goes. Who wants to invest in a new Bulgarian cricket magazine I know of?

No real good buys right now, I'd wait for a pullback. There's a lot of money that hasn't been spent on tech which will need to be soon. Companies like things that save them money. For that I like the Hewlett Packard and IBMs of the world, along with several mobile internet/smart phone plays. HD seems to have operations ironed out for when consumer spending returns, and COP and XOM are no brainers in the oil sector. MA and V are also long term no brainers as cash and checks become more scarce and a profits will soar when the economy turns.

T and VZ are solid plays with great dividends. Stock isn't going to the moon but there's a decent 6% dividend and the potential for a double in a few years in a decent market.

There are other good picks mentioned in this thread. I like CSCO and BAC for the longterm.
