I hope regardless of the weather we pack Hilton and make it loud as hell because this team needs a big pick-me-up after that Drake game. Make it LOUD early and hope they play well enough to keep it that way. I really think that a rocking Hilton will give this team a morale boost that is probably needed right now.

I agree, especially considering the hype that the returning players have placed upon this game and the big 12 games. They have been pumping up the newbies about the crowd noise for these games, and I hope they aren't dissappointed.

My guess is that because of apathy already and the weather, we won't even see a full house for this game.

This could be accurate. I usually buy extra tickets for this game and make a nice profit from them. This year, I was lucky to get back what I paid, and break even. Actually, I ended up losing money because of the "convenience" charge when ordering the extra tickets.

I would say this is the biggest game of the season. Win and maybe we can start to get something going and get some momentum going into conference play. Lose and well we might as well put a fork in them.

Wow...a sure fire sign that there is no such thing as Hilton Magic anymore.

You're right Hilton Magic is long gone...Apathy is starting to set in and its gonna be hard to turn this ship around this year.

Does anyone else think Katz is a "tool"? I do...not just because of his little chat that started this thread but from what I have seen from him overall the last few years.

Of course he is. Every one of those pretty faced idiot analysts working for ESPN are tools. It's gotten really bad. The worst, IMO, is definitely Steve Phillips on Baseball Tonight.

Speaking of Steve Phillips...he is so bad! I do miss Harold Reynolds...he knew the game and offered a true point-of-view as a former player. He just couldn't keep his you-know-what in his pants...

I like Tim Kirkjian (sp?) and Peter Gammons though.

Im pretty sure it wasn't completely full last time. I honestly can not remember the last time it WAS completely full.

Last few years there have been empty student seats for some games.
