Ames Lager?

Quick question. I don’t drink because of my meds. However, I have my class reunion this weekend. We’ll be at a state park during the game, there’ll be a TV set up…and it’s in eastern Iowa.

I’ll be damned if I’m going to skip on taking some Ames Lager along. The college grads are equally split between ISU and UI, but, again, eastern Iowa.

Note I can’t see to drive, and can’t run all over the place looking. So, what’s a fairly central place in Des Moines to find some?

By “central”I mean downtown or close, though I’ll be in Windsor Heights tomorrow morning.

Is there a map somewhere?

Thanks for you help!

How about the Hy-Vee at 4th and Court in downtown? They have a Wine & Spirits section but I don't know if they have Ames Lager.

If HyVee has it, it might be easiest to stop at the Pleasant Hill HyVee on the way of town. Assuming they have it? Riding with a classmate.

(She’s cute)

You could do that. Maybe someone on here knows if they have any in stock.

Please post here or in my thread about what you find so that I can add it to the availability list.

We need more data about availability in Des Moines.

East Euclid HyVee has a display under tailgating tents, to the keft inside. Sorry, did not look further on the way out of town. Got a twelve.

Such a sweet, sweet victory brew!
