The forest is great for my family. We have an RV but we live in Ames so camping in the village makes a little less sense for the price. Haunted forest is at minimum, half the price, granted no power hookups, but we are usually there for less than 24 hours.
I’ll admit, the exhaust for the Iowa game last year was a bit much

It hasnt been good in a decade and pricey.
I went in 2008 when I was in school and wasn't even impressed then. They let too many people go at the same time. And for clarity - I'm a little ***** when it comes to being scared. Only reason I went was my girlfriend at the time wanted to go.

Knew a guy in college that woke up there high as balls on shrooms. Messed him up good for a couple days. Was hilarious.
