Title says it all. She made her first 3 pointer in her WNBA career. She also played a little over 17 minutes.

Congrats Aus. It's good to see you score! :)

Aaargh I missed it. You know what - I followed the game alternatively and then in the end of the game there was an advertisement on the WNBA Liveaccess. Guess who was on that advertisement ? None other than Gene "5-19" Chizik !

That's awesome! I wasn't watching the game -- can anybody post a video link to her hitting the shot? It must have been such a relief after such a major dry spell. I saw on the Storm's website that she was assisted on the basket by Sue Bird, so the coach had both his point guards in the game at the same time.

Sounds like Alison will get more playing time on the next 2 road trips. :)

Storm Head Coach Brian Agler plans to take a longer-term view to the Storm's road trip, limiting the minutes of starters and giving extended playing time to younger players on the bench.

"This is going to be a good trip for the Janas and the Ashleys and the Abbys and the Alisons," Agler said before the Storm headed out on the road. "They're going to get extended minutes in the second half."

Along with his coaching staff and input from other trusted peers, Agler devised a plan to open up the rotation while giving his starters enough minutes to stay sharp. He anticipated using a regular rotation during the first half, then opening the second half with reserves on the floor and generally using them the rest of the way

I will definitely be watching those games.
