Game Recap: Women's Basketball | 02.15.2025
LAWRENCE, Kan. – Iowa State (18-9, 9-5 Big 12) picked up the 93-80 road win at Kansas (16-7, 7-5 Big 12) Saturday afternoon to secure the season sweep of the Jayhawks. Iowa State seemingly could not miss from beyond the 3-point line, while Addy Brown nearly hit a triple-double.
Addy Brown was a star coming just one rebound shy of a triple-double. Her stat line included 17 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds. The sophomore secured her seventh double-double of the season and 17th of her career.

With the attention received by Audi, I’m not certain Addy Brown is appreciated as much as she should be! We have two former Cheryl Miller Award winners in our past, namely Ashley (2021 & 2022) and Bridget (2019). I was curious how sophomore Addy compared to them in “advanced metrics”, and the answer is, quite favorably!

ISU WBB Players in the Top 250:
141 - Ashley Joens – 10.92
164 – Bridget Carleton – 10.65
194 – Addy Brown – 10.31
222 – Audi Crooks – 9.87

Player Efficiency Rating (PER) appears to favor post players so ISU only has one player in the Top 250 (since 2002), but it's impressive, as Audi Crooks is inside the top 100!
