I've already gone from being pretty hyped about winter football, to not watching the last two weeks. Not sure what local support is looking like or if thats enough to keep the lights on.

I'm in the same boat as you, as I'm kind of burned out on football right now, although I watched weeks 1 and 4 (this week). Probably would have skipped it if it wasn't the Commanders and getting the chance to see Lanning play. It appears he's one of the team leaders.

That being said, as has been said, overall ratings are up since week 1, which is something the XFL didn't do 19 years ago.

I love watching football, but I wouldn't be able to watch 1 sport year round. I'm sure it's different for others though.

I would only attend it if someone built a domed stadium in the DSM metro. (MAYBE would drive to UNI dome once every 3 years or so).

That would be awesome, but I'm not holding my breath.

The level of play has been better than I expected. Scoring is quite a bit lower than you'd want, but there's enough good stuff going on I don't have trouble sitting and watching for a couple hours.
