At the time, I wondered if we'd exhausted all of our positive replay karma in one game. I think I was right. Just about every questionable call has gone against us since.
You would have been, like what, 9 years old?
The fumble at the goal line that Mike O'Connell recovered still pisses me off. He would have likely scored to make it a 2 possession game if they hadn't blown the play dead.
We started Tiller at QB and Jeremiah Schwartz at RB, not to mention like 5 other starters were sick as **** and didn't play much. Oh, and we are Iowa State.

Still pathetic that we could only score 9 with that many turnovers. Hell that one in the 4th quarter we were on their 22 yard line. Pitiful.

My thought too. I was a freshman at ISU when this happened, now I am graduated and have been working for 3.5 years. Seems like it wasn't that long ago but it really was.

Side note, It's crazy how much Rhoads' guts changed from his first years to his ending years.
We were so ******* close! Just needed a decent throw on that fake field goal and we would have beat kNU 2 years in a row and would have been bowl eligible that year. For the record, still loved Rhoads' decision.

This was the most bizarre game I have ever seen, almost not even believable...
For sure...it was one thing to get all the 50/50 balls and have the review go our way...but things like their receiver just dropping the ball unforced going into the endzone was bizarre!
