You know, I dont think ive really been "confident" all season long. Ive enjoyed the season, dont get me wrong, but I was always nervous before games. That might have sapped some of my excitement. What happens in the Dance aside, that is probably how Ill remember this season. Some exciting wins, great games, lots of nervous.

If you aren't nervous, it's probably because the team isn't winning. The only calm seasons I've had in 30+ years are ones where there's really nothing on the line.

I know exactly what you mean.

Although I saw plenty of potential prior to the conference season, I felt none-too-confident. After the first two weeks of Big 12 play, I realized this team might actually pull us out of a six-season doldrum. First week started it — I thought gaining a split would be a step up, and ISU beat UT and on the road @ A&M (after so many years of scarce road wins)

I was bummed letting a win slip vs. KU, then I thought we were going to blow it vs. OSU, but the team pulled it out.

Suddenly, I was nervous about laying eggs on the road against iffy teams (like TT). Then, we needed at least one signature win, and there was the back-to-back KU/KSU games. Etcetera.
