Yeah, I have one: in your previous post, the "revenue" was most important to you (as in "He is selling a ticket that brings in $100 in revenue").
$175 > $99. Who can't do math again?

The demand wasn't there. The season ticket sales obviously slumped off. He is trying to sell some of the remaining seats for as much revenue as he can. I'm sure JP would LOVE to sell every seat in the stadium as a season ticket.

I seriously doubt if the demand won't be there for the UNI and Iowa games. We pretty much always sell those games out, and UNI and Iowa fans will pay high dollar for these games.

The UNI game was not sold out last year. Close but it was not a sell out. The trends all around the nation are for declining attendance and although ISU will be much more resistant than most, they are not immune.

Despite raising capacity to very close to Kinnick capacity, our ticket revenue is just over half of what Iowa's is, based on 2016 numbers. The gap was closed a little bit versus prior years.

Oh we cant sell every seat as a season ticket...as Jimmie dean Walden said "Then we would be Nebraska, Whats wrong with what Nebraska is doing"......

At Iowa State for way too many years the academics/professors did not want a winning football team. (because then we would be like Nebbie) ... I would love to have a Nebraska style.... 5 natl titles football program with every game sold out...

Realistically I dont ever see much football success at ISU...and I will repeat, I have been looking at this since Oct 1962, when I attended the Iowa State at Nebraska football game.

idk what professors you had but every single one I've had and talked to loves it when ISU wins for both basketball and football.

These days winning football games actually helps with academics because sports is now the biggest marketing campaign for schools. Good sports actually attracts better students.

Careful, my girlfriend is a UNI grad and she absolutely despises the term Panther Hawk. She despises them.

Some time in my distant past, I had an assistant who had 2 sons who went to thee university of nuthin' important at cedar falls, ia. Of course they absolutely couldNOT go to the panther football games....because they both had Season Football Tickets to .....guess who....The University of Iowa......

They were both Staunch Panther Hawks in every sense of the word......I love it when I go to the gym 5 days a week and I see these cars with a hok sticker and a panther sticker on the back window.........Can you say Panther Hawks.....

I know a ton of UNI grads and they are almost all bigger hawk fans than panther fans... the term panther hawks exists for a reason.

For all the complaints about the mini pack it did convince me to get tickets. As a recent graduate I couldn't commit to season tickets but was able to commit to the mini pack. I think it is good to keep the current students as ticketholders once they graduate.

I'm trying to collect enough from all of you to not appear naive, so forgive me.
My wife and I both graduated from Iowa State and have 3 kids. Much like 95% of the general population, weekends are a disaster and once school starts, sporting events fill Saturday. Against UNI, it is a Saturday night and youth sports haven't start yet. My kids are now at the age where we would be bad parents if we dont get them to a game. UNI is the best chance to attend a game. Again, Youth Sports quickly start up, then before you know I am full radio mode via combine to the later half.

Question, On August 17th at 10:00am, can I buy 5 single game tickets to UNI or will the game be sold out before it even opens up. I am not any club member or anything like that. Just a fan who wants to take his kids to a game? What is my best route? I'm not too intrigued with buying a Pack and reselling those I cant attend which is probably the other 2.

UNI didn't sell out last year and I'm guessing looking at general trends sales have not been great this year. I would guess that you'll be able to find 5 tickets pretty easy, they will probably be in the upper corners.

Stub Hub has some available starting at $30 but I've never purchased from them.

Thanks Man, so based off your intel, when Iowa State Athletic Dept open up single game tickets can I assume they are comparable to $30 or would they jack up the price to the $50 range.

Stub Hub: Are they the agency that you can sell your tickets through? So the tickets for sale at this point are basically season ticket holders who already know they can not go to the game. Am I correct?

I would say correct.

Once ticket sales open for donors someone will be able to tell you prices.
