WVU was in position to host until they started losing a bunch of games down the stretch in the regular season and then were an early exit in the Big 12 tournament.
Wright State up on #1 Overall Seed Vanderbilt 3-1 as it heads to the 8th inning. Game on SEC Network.
Rooting for Mississippi State. My friend, a fellow Cyclone Alumni, has a son on the team.
Former Iowa State assistant Ed Servais has been the head coach at Creighton for 21 years and is retiring at the end of the season. They've been on a good run to win the Big East tournament and up big on KU now.

After long weather delays pushed the first game back, Rhode Island and Dallas Baptist are set for a 10:59 p.m. local first pitch in Baton Rouge. I think 11:00 is the official cut-off time, otherwise they'd be pushed back to tomorrow morning..
