The parking footprint is the same as last year right? No additional spots have been lost?

Footprint is same, but pushing donors further back. I was Cardinal last year, $750 donation and that got me in C3. Had to up donation to $900 this year to stay at same level but now only options are C1 and C2. It was already a hard decision to up donation level with cost of everything else going up. But especially frustrating to find out I was getting pushed further away while maintaining same donor level at higher amount.

Not to worry.... you will still have a great shot at C3

Nobody is getting pushed back, Iowa State is just trying to grab more money. When seat selection started this year, there seemed to be a lot more seats between the 30's in the lower bowl available this year. I'm guessing overall season ticket sales will be down.

Yeah, I'm very sad to say I was one of them who gave up my football season tickets after 30+ years of Cyclone Club membership. And our seats were perfect: top row of lower bowl on the 35-40 yrd line on West side.

This season would have averaged around $660/home game for our two tickets + parking + seat backs + donation. My wife and I just finally decided it's too much for us to keep spending when we've got so many other competing priorities.

I will be cheering faithfully in front of my TV this fall, but it's gonna be really hard. :(

I think they label that as "estimated" since nobody is guaranteed anything until you choose. This also goes along with what Pollard has stated in the past that ISU fans have been very generous to give what they have to and not what they can. Quite simply, if you want to park in a specific spot, they give you a roadmap to do that with a reserved spot. If you donate within a specific level you can estimate where your selection will be and if something is open in a higher donation area then good for you!
If there is any pushing donors back it would be from an increase of donors and not the University which would be a positive sign considering the increase and tax adjustment this year. I have a feeling the opposite happened this year.

Duh!
My lot was reclassified, I missed that this was happening. Had I known, I would have increased my donation.

That’s going to be me someday soon. We already couldn’t handle the sticker shock of the increased donation so we dropped down to gold from captains.

They sent out an email on April 7th with this year's parking map and donation levels stating that you can increase your donation by April 14th for parking. It's technically past the deadline but I would call tomorrow and see if they would make an exception.

I would guess this will be the last year we keep our 4 tickets, it gets more expensive every season, and since most of our tailgating group moved away, its harder to get motivated to put up with the hassle of going to the games. Last season we split our tickets with another couple, but they live in Davenport and have small children, getting harder for them to get over and back more than a couple times a season.

You’re in the exact same situation as last year specific to C3. Again, the map includes (and has previously included) “Estimated Parking Requirements” to set the expectation but it all depends on donors and demand for a specific lot.
If you don’t have C3 as an option in 2025 that means the people that have more priority points than you chose that lot when their selection time happened. But that’s the same scenario as every previous year

Thanks. I clearly missed it. Found the email but obviously didn’t look closely enough at it.

For those worried about cost, the mobile tickets are a great option. Not the best seats, but rarely bad.
We gave up Sukup tickets last year, but decided to try Mobile Pass this year. Question I have is about public parking. When do those go on sale?
