Not close in terms of fast people, not normal people. The difference between Lyles and last in the 100 final was .12 seconds, Tyreek's PB would be .4 seconds behind Lyles.
Sure, I think we're agreeing. I just think general public would see it and go, dang that's close. Although I'm sure Tyreek wouldnt run those HS times today.
It is crazy to think though, that is PB 200m as a high school senior would have been good enough for 7th in this Olympics. Obviously made the right call to play football, but he could have been that guy in track too.
