Not exactly sure.
Who is the lead person for the LA Olympics?. Romney was for SLC when they got it.

Don’t understand why they don’t have enough softball facilities around LA and have to go to Norman for them.

I heard or saw something about Tom Cruise but not sure if that was the lead person.

Maybe he'll try to jet pack his way in and out of the stadium.

It was the previous mayor's big push but not sure if there's a figurehead now. The whole idea was that they'd build far less new structures than typical. This year the surfers were in Tahiti so at least that event could be brought back local where some world competitions have been held.

I love the sports click journalism that happens these days. I saw this headline and clicked it. I'll provide link if your interested but it's the biggest nothing burger I've ever seen.

Plus, Tahiti is part of France;

I don't get all the hate about niche sports.

Shooting certainly isn't. It has real world applications and definitely requires skill.

Badminton and Table Tennis are as legit as tennis or volleyball. It takes some endurance. And it takes incredible hand eye coordination.

And what is the argument against rowing and canoeing?

Dr. Raygun was my favorite part of the Olympics. Too bad she can't come back in 28.
