Thornburg taking Pagan's assignment hits a batter than walks 2 only getting 1 out! And then the infield single to tie it up. What a disaster!!!!
And why not we leave him in the game. He gets us to the 9th tied at least.

I feel bad for the position players and starters.
Really, it's just a few members of the bullpen and the fact that Archer can't pitch 6 innings. I guess the defense could tighten up a little but it's generally been pretty good. Maybe Archer or Winder go to the bullpen and that helps. Please please please please work.
Tyler was the positive today. Three scoreless outings in a row. Maybe, just maybe he's coming back. I'd go with him over Pagan at this point.
It's just brutal how we had 1st base open and we don't walk a guy who hits 400+ with RISP and will likely be an all star.
Especially when it's a meaningless run. Rocco's analytics really sucked there.
