Wisconsin hasn't had a real QB since Russell Wilson. They're offensively inept.
Sullivan looks and acts like that guy you need to dial up your 3rd string Linebacker on a targeting ejection
QB was generally not important for about 3 decades while they had a really good thing going on most years.
They're really not very good anywhere right now.
At least Iowa knows how to run a QB sneak on the goal line. Iowa's QB under center... brings a huge TE in motion and snaps the ball right when the TE is behind the QB and the TE shoves the QB well into the endzone. A thing of beauty.
ISU will forever be the most inept team I've ever seen trying to run a QB sneak. This is basic Football 101 crap... and CMC can't figure it out.

When Chryst was let go it was a recruiting issue, not a scheme issue iirc. I don't recall anyone saying they wanted WI to go away from what got them there.
They were impressed with Fickel for about one spring but the fans I know are pretty much done with him.
A friend was talking before the Alabama game how in most years when a blue blood was coming to town, fans may not have expected a win but they knew what WI did well and if they could hang around and get the run game going, they had a chance.
Now, that feeling is gone and they know they're going to get ripped by good teams with a team that has no identity or star players.
This happened in just 2-3 short years.
Sorry, I just watched a linebacker bat a ball down, then kick it off his teams helmet then catch the ball for an INT. I mean….
