Film looks good. Throws well on the run, elusive in the pocket and has good awareness of pressure. Is he a big strider when he runs or is he pretty slow?

Not fast but kind of elusive and agile for his size. Like how he throws and maintains it on the run, however throws across his body too much for my liking but that can be coached. Overall I think he will be a solid recruit

He was one of the few bright spots for the team at West. I kind of like that our new coach is targeting Iowa kids, its worked out pretty well in Iowa City and if you cant talk an instate kid into coming why would an out of state kid want to come here.

Wow- didn't think the joke was that complicated. They're two different people with almost identical names. DEVRON committed to Paul Rhoads but got homesick. Went home, came back as a walk-on, then went home again. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw the name. They even look kinda similar.

I wonder if Rivals lists Moore as a "soft verbal" because he doesn't have an Iowa offer yet. Just speculating. If he is successful in his senior season I imagine Kirk could send Reese Morgan to try to poach.

Good to see the Waterloo pipeline coming back, it's been good to ISU.

If somebody doesn't know what you're talking about the joke is extremely complicated.

A guy in my office mentioned him to me a few weeks back, his son played against him. He said Moore looked like Michael Vick - athletic left handed kid with appeared to snap the ball like Vick.

Have him redshirt Lanning's senior season then become a 4 year starter

Really nice kid from a GREAT family.

He's going to take some development, but could be guy to look toward in year 3 or 4.

Good get.

I like his size and the arm strength he shows in the hudl video. While it won't be all that determines success, those are things you can't teach that make a difference on the field.

Rhoads' first recruit as ISU head coach was an Iowa kid named Jake Knott. Let's hope CMC's first recruit works out as well for him and ISU.

Welcome to the Cyclone family Devon!

Unless something changes soon in Waterloo that's not a pipeline to be worried about.

That said, Moore is a good kid from a good family. A very nice get.

Anyone else think he looks a bit like Lanning?

No, not really.

This is the type of kid the other staff wouldn't have pressed hard for and lost to a kstate or Iowa or UNI and in a few years he would have destroyed us.

Waterloo is definitely not a pipeline
I agree it hasn't been in many years but there was some tremendous athletes to come out of Waterloo. Glad to see another Waterloo kid coming to Ames.

Any kid with talent in Waterloo goes to CF now days.

I'm gonna say Dom DeLira has something to say about that

Like how smooth he looks especially throwing the deep ball on the run. Almost makes it look too easy. Granted it's a highlight video but he appears to be a good get to me.
