The Ryder Cup is always one of my favorite sporting events. It brings out more American pride for me than the Olympics. I'll be curious to see who Davis Love III picks as his Captains Picks. Go USA!

Some big names for the Americans. Hope they can put it together.

Anyone had much luck on tickets? I looked on StubHub the other day and a pass for Sunday was going for around $250, which I didn't think was too bad.

I have 2 extra tickets to Thursday's session. Passes include access to practice rounds, Opening Ceremonies, and Captain's Matches. Captains Matches are a scramble between former US and European Captains.

This year's Ryder Cup is in Minneapolis at Hazeltine. Asking $250 for the pair. PM me if interested.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 29

Ryder Cup Practice Round - 8:00 a.m. forward

Players may practice at any hole during these times and may or may not play all holes.

Captains Matches - 12:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.

9-hole scramble featuring former Captains from United States VS. Europe.*

Pre-Opening Ceremony - 3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Opening Ceremony - 4:00 p.m. – 4:50 p.m.

This ceremony marks the official start of the 41st Ryder Cup and will feature live music, anthems and Team introductions. All spectators with a Thursday ticket are invited to attend this event located at the south end of the Practice Range.

I am working a booth with my friend on Friday, so I got lucky and am able to get a pass for one of the weekend rounds. I will probably end up taking Sunday, but I am really excited either way

Thought I would throw my 2 cents in...

I went Friday to Sunday in 2012 when the Ryder Cup was at Medinah just outside of Chicago.

It was electric! Granted, I'm a huge golf nerd who gets excited for the random weekly tournament on the PGA Tour, but my experience was amazing.

I would actually argue that having the groups all bunched together makes it even better. You can feel the intensity - and the players get SOOO into it.

Few negatives - traffic was beyond brutal. We parked and shuttled, but just getting to the parking area was a nightmare. Also, everything is stupid expensive. $16 for a burger and bottle of Pepsi if I remember correctly. Just know you're gonna spend some $$$ going into it and the sticker shock won't be as bad.

Enjoy! Go USA.
