No one knows there last names or what they do? Or do they just lurk in the shadows until the Cott-man needs a breather?

Basically. Sometimes they fill in for Jon, too. They never say their last names. Atleast in the several times I've heard them they haven't. Which now that I think about it, is a bit weird. They seem like nice enough guys but you can see why they don't have a show of their own after you listen for about 3 minutes.

Do some of you think that by stating this over and over and over again, it will somehow make it a true statement?

Keep buying into Jon Miller's "we are fine with our ratings being down 30%" comments.

By the way, 1700 was back in full force this morning.

I wouldn't bet my salary on it but I'm pretty sure it's Bob Selby and Dave Bingham. Dave is they guy who used to work for WOI and accidently put their van antenna up into a power wire. He and a female coworker were pretty badly injured. This was about 10 years ago probably.

I guess I don't find his explanation of the ratings, competitors, and their target demographic market to be as hard to follow as some do. Either that, or I'm not of the ilk who's comprehension is impaired due to some odd desire to see the demise of our only local sports talk radio option.

I enjoy 1700 from time-to-time as well. I'm not a big Cotlar fan, but we would be missing out on a lot of local sports discussion if KxNO wasn't around
