17.1, 17.2, 13.1, 13.2 OTA...WTF?

what's with these 13.1 and 13.2 channels? I have directv so should I be getting more channels?

they are talking about the digital channels. you need a digital tuner box to get them.

This is the biggest debacle since Ma Bell switched away from the rotary dial.

Don't worry, we get to go through all this again when the other channels decide to switch. That's one of the big reasons they originally wanted everyone to switch at the same time.
