    Word around these parts is that Staten is transferring to Heelan. Can't say that I'm surprised given the surrounding cast he has at West. Will be very interesting to see how he fits into their program.

    This is my opinion as well. I've seen him play numerous times too and have never thought he deserved as much hype as has been given. Although he's only a soph, his team shouldn't get blown out by 50 points if he's being touted as a top D1 prospect. He was 2 for 11 shooting last night.

    Don't they have enough money in their coffers now to buy real turf? Everytime I see that field, I think the Field Turf folks screwed up the color and offered Boise St. one heck of a deal for that crap. When they play home games, it's hard to differentiate between their uniforms and the field!

    I think the easiest job in Phoenix is to be a weatherman. October through July....sun. Late July through early September....monsoons developing in late afternoon/early evening. Other than that....sun!

    Insight Rally Cry..

    I'm as good as there! Used to live in Phoenix. Moved from there to Denver just before the '99 Insight game so was unable to attend....ripped my heart out not to be there. I'd love to go to that bowl 10 years later.
