If you want something cheap with a good quality in a non-stick, Try the aluminum professional skillets they sell at Sam's Club. I've had good luck with them.

Xavier Foster removed from team; target of sexual assault investigation

The "more" may be that litigation is expensive and he may be trying to shake down the university for a few bucks on a settlement. Going to trial is expensive. Even if he can squeeze $5-10k out of them, that cuts down the net cost of his defense.

Former wrestling coach Jim Gibbons urges lawmakers to strip Iowa PBS copyright

Not surprised. There is no incentive for non-profits to know what the left or right hand are doing and improve. More often or not, they flounder.

    Mac McCausland passes away

The 90s were a different story than the 80s. Started to change when Johnny showed up, but it was a slow process.

    Mac McCausland passes away

It doesn't. Every Iowa basketball game was broadcast state wide back in those days. You couldn't watch ISU, Drake, or even Kansas. Many didn't yet have cable, so Iowa basketball was pretty much it. They drew broadcast market shares which today would be unfathomable. A lot of kids grew up...

Former wrestling coach Jim Gibbons urges lawmakers to strip Iowa PBS copyright

Yes, IPTV didn't accept any money for those rights, but the schools didn't charge them either. What you left out of your post is that IPTV used those broadcasts to draw viewers and raise money off of them. The benefit was mutual. I'm sure they will fall on the sword, but this mess is a product...

Former wrestling coach Jim Gibbons urges lawmakers to strip Iowa PBS copyright

The unintended consequence is that it's going to cause problems for those productions that were done as joint ventures where both IPTV and the other party jointly own the rights. The other party want what they own taken from them and thrown into the public domain.

    2022 Stock Market

100% Agree there will be acquisitions in the sector. And I'm not saying it's not a good play. My only concern is the timing. If you look closely, the sell off has accelerated since the 1st of this year after breaking through resistance around thanksgiving. I'm just giving feedback as to why...

    Hy-Vee's weirdest business decision yet?

I'd love to buy taco by the slice, and I'd even pay more. But lettuce doesn't do well in a warmer and I'm sure having tortilla chips fall off onto the slices below or having to clean them off the bottom would serve as a deterrent. LOL

    2022 Stock Market

Nice looking chart, but I don't think it's done falling yet. Most of the companies in the index are not profitable, which in itself isn't a big deal, but what's different about this pullback from the others is inflation. Inflation is driving sector rotation. Companies with high valuations, and...

Facilities and financial update from Jamie Pollard

Convention and business travelers will drive much of that traffic. It will become the place to Ames to stay and the hotel will absolutely kill it because of it's location. Students will most certainly be there year round, but they are not going to be the ones that keep the doors open or drive...

Facilities and financial update from Jamie Pollard

It'll be fine. Ames is in desperate need of quality convention space. That in itself will generate bar, restaurant, and hotel revenue. It will also be a landing spot for both business and family travelers. There are no hotels downtown or in campustown for those who want to eat and drink. Locals...

    Hy-Vee's weirdest business decision yet?

Seems weird on the surface, but in reality it's image advertising. The company seems like it's one big test market with all the crap they fling against the wall, but based on my observations there may be a method to the madness. What it appears they are trying to do with all this stuff is to...
