    There is something to this though. Illinois hit a lot of late shot clock contested shots. Pretty much perfect defense on a lot of them. Sometimes people just don't miss. Hard to deal with. KenPom says that teams that are weighted higher for offense than defense perform better in the tournament.

    CBS reseed has us one spot ahead of Illinois. It's almost as if some people overrate us, some people underrate us, and some people are in the middle..it's almost as if different people have different opinions.

    It's objective that team A has the better KenPom. But there's nothing objective about saying the tournament should be seeded by KenPom rank.
