He did drop a very short pass over the middle his first game which am sure "validated" the stories out of ISU. But he did make a spectacular one handed TD catch in practice that got shown many times here on TV newscasts -

Which player are you most excited to watch this year?
I am anxious to see the pk we got from AZ last year who red shirted. I know we grabbed another for the future but I want to see (cannot remember his name now) if the staff totally whiffed on that stud or not. Of the higher profile guys I would say Scates. -
