    My biggest take away from that article is that Iowa felt like a business, and Iowa State felt like a family to him. That's why Campbell has had so much success on the recruiting front. Also sums up why Deyo picked us pretty nicely.

    I was pretty young when I was at the game, (12?). I remember I was sitting on the hillside with some drunk female Iowa fans sitting right in front on me wearing shirts that said "**** STATE" on the back. That was a formative experience for me.

    The number of students graduating from Iowa State and staying to work in state was starting to flip the script even before we started having success in football. Having success in football might start converting some of the t-shirt fans but that's about it.

    My lymph node biopsies for my TC all came back cancer free, so I should be cancer free at this point at the ripe old age of 29. Yeah, 2020 is going to be remembered for a while.
