Shreveport, LA. We drove straight through. Had 3 car loads of my friends. Senior year I believe. We had a lot of friendly banter with the Bama fans before the game. It was a blast until the last seconds.
I can confirm as I was there in person. The kick was good. Everyone in the stands knew it. The only idiots that didn’t were the ones in zebra shirts. Had multiple Bama fans telling my group that we got screwed as we left the stadium.
But, he made the right decision. That’s what matters. Didn’t turn out but I’m actually happy to see he tried to get rid of it rather than take the sack or force a throw. I’m sure the coaching staff will use this as a learning experience for this young man.
I actually think it was a smart move. He just didn’t have the strength for whatever reason to get it out of bounds. Yes, hindsight, take the sack. But than you would have posted that he should have thrown it away. JFC, I hate most of you
He was trying to get rid of it. He made the right choice and just didn’t have it. Not faulting him at all. Sucks. But he tried to make the right choice
