Becht has accounted for at least one touchdown in 27 straight games, the longest active streak in FBS -- six games more than any other QB.

Becht numbers when Iowa State was trailing in the second half last season: 82.3 QBR, 8.55 yards/attempt, 11 total touchdowns, 3 interceptions.

Im drinking the kool-aid already this year, but I think Becht puts up stupid numbers this year. With the TE room he has, and once the chemistry is there between he and the new receivers, look out. It wouldnt shock me for Townsend to be another 1000 yard receiver this year

ISU with essentially two 1200 yard receivers and then nobody over 300 yards. I would be perfectly fine with three 800 yard receivers and a couple of 400 yard receivers instead.

This would be acceptable, just a spreading of wealth a bit more!

I do think Rocco flirts with 4000-4500 yards this year

I doubt Brown will ever be a go to receiver but the kid has elite speed. I hope they send him deep often this year even if it’s a decoy to tire dbs out.

Got a chuckle out of these nuggets, too.

ISU and Iowa are as far away from each other as mathematically possible in both point guards and quarterbacks for like a quarter century now.

ISU has all stars/pro bowlers/olympians at both positions and a few other nba/nfl pros at the positions. Iowa has the worst QB play in FBS and for long stretches their basketball program seemed to purposefully not even play or even recruit point guards.
