St. Bonaventure transfer CHANCE MOORE has committed to play for the West Virginia Mountaineers!

Moore, a 6’6 guard from Brookhaven, Georgia, averaged 13.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game and has 1 years of eligibility remaining. Chance was a four star recruit back in 2021 and initially committed to play for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Moore played at the WVU Coliseum back in 2023 and he had a big game there, finishing with 24 points and 8 rebounds.

WVU, who had zero players left from last season, has added 7 transfers. Three 4-stars, one a top 100 player out of high school. WVU also landed the best 3 point shooter in the portal, at a reported cost of north of a million dollars.

As frustrating as it's been for the Cyclones to miss on a couple top targets, at least this isn't us. Fans as a whole probably aren't valuing the job the staff and WeWill have done to retain players enough. While we are sitting with a nearly complete roster, many other schools are still trying to cobble together a bench.

Treysen Eaglestaff Commits to West Virginia​

Eaglestaff turned heads nationally this season, scoring 40 points in a loss to No. 6 Alabama in December. In his final win with North Dakota, in the Summit League Championship quarterfinals, Eaglestaff scored a Summit League record 51 points.

WVU outbid Kentucky for his services. He chose WVU over BYU, Zags, Washington, Kansas, and others. The price tag was 2 million plus.
