Lipsey not practicing live oof, hopefully out an abundance of caution.
Yeah, that's a much bigger deal than anything having to do with Gilbert.

most likely. I hope we don’t need him a lot in the first round.Lipsey not practicing live oof, hopefully out an abundance of caution.
Not sure we can take Lipscomb lightlymost likely. I hope we don’t need him a lot in the first round.
Now that he’s completely off the team, I’ll say what I’ve heard. I heard from 2 different people with sources (and no, I do not know who these sources are) that Keshons dad demanded additional money to play in the tournament. How much I don’t know. Obviously he was hurt and who knows how effective he’d be. But, I would bet that he would want to give it a try…whether it was this week or next week.Unless you have talked with Keshon and consulted with his doctors, you have no idea if dad is overbearing or not. Truthfully, we don’t even know that dad is involved. Just that “sources” say he is. So maybe reserve judgement?
I’m not saying to take them lightly, but we have the horses to win without those two. We have shown that. Play him sparingly if we can get an early lead. Not sure we can take Lipscomb lightly
We might still squeak past Lipscomb. Are we cooked? I hope not but Gilbert problem and Lipsey not practicing
You need to find something that makes you happy in your life. It's clearly not Iowa State sports. You have to be the most pessimistic/knee-jerk reaction poster I've ever seen.

Yes. Every team can lose, but we’ve played big games without big players and still won. We can still win even if he doesn’t play.Have we shown it? It's very silly to think that the team that lost by 20 at Hilton to a non-NCAA team and lost at Oklahoma State with Tamin, can sleep walk through Friday. They can win. But they can lose that game too.
*whining about basketball at every opportunityI have plenty, basketball is how I choose to spend my time in the winter though.
Dude's so soft he can't even handle a hot coffeeI choose to focus on how happy he looked heading to the bus/plane. With an iced coffee to boot.

I'm not sure you understand how journalism works. I'm shocked how many people think beat reporters are supposed to be a fan of the team. What did they teach you guys in school?!I was baited into listening to the podcast. I don't think I heard anything authoritative, just opinions.
Since we are talking about speculation here, why do people now particularly care what R Peterson thinks or has to say? I guess I will defer to CW on that, this time. I have to say that I admire RP's work ethic over the years. I can't say that I feel he was someone that I eagerly awaited, each week or day, to read or hear about what he had to say about the Cyclones though.
Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't he assigned by the Register to cover the Cyclone beat, over the years (40+ years)? And further, while he may be a Cyclone fan, due to the fact that he covered the Cyclones, isn't he also a Hawkeye fan at heart? I guess I would just prefer to have a reporter, who I would have to listen to frequently, also be a true fan of the team he is covering.
I would be open to listen to someone else, other than Randy, maybe anyone else other than Randy, on the subject of Keshon. Otherwise, it is purely speculation. Keshon deserves more, I think. And honestly, speculation from Randy, and an Iowa fan, is what this appears to me. No thanks.
