I didn't read your review and anything can happen in a tournament, but I see this as a two horse race.

If Littlepage-Buggs and Bella Fontleroy are able to return for Baylor, I'll take the Lady Bears to win the whole thing. They bought Vonleah to neutralize Audi and have very experienced guards. I just can't see ISU beating Baylor - hope I'm wrong.

Otherwise, TCU just has too much firepower. They beat ISU in Ames while getting nothing from Sedonna Prince, which is unlikely to happen again. I'm a Donovyn Hunter fan and Taylor Bigby is underrated. If Baylor doesn't get healthy, TCU adds the tournament title to their regular season crown.

If I had to bet a farm on the champion I'd bet the winner of the WV/TCU game will be the champion, but I'd be extremely nervous.

I'm sad that a change of circumstances made me unable to go to the torment, but I'm still going to catch at least our games.

I was wondering if Baylor might rest their injured players even if they could play, but I think they might be on the cusp of hosting the first round and winning the tournament might get them there.

Edit: meant tournament, but leaving as torment is funnier.

I was wondering if you made a typo or if you actually view the tournament as a "torment". LOL I guess it could be if your favorite team loses.

Buggs is out for Baylor. Jada is nursing bad ankles. Bella had a major collision at KSU. She did not perform as usual against TCU. Lots of tape, lots of pain. But her and Jada may be full strength by Friday. Who knows.

If we can get past Baylor, I feel decent about making it to the final.

The bad:
ISU is 1-7 against ranked teams. ISU is #212 in turnover margin and #191 in bench scoring.

The good:
They should beat ASU. They looked pretty good against KSU. They made it to the final last year. The've won 6 out 7 (all 6 wins by double digits).

They just lost by 15 to Baylor. I can't see them getting that win. Otherwise, they could be in the finals a second straight year.
