I don't have the quote in front of me, but in an interview today Bill made it sound like there's a decent chance she might play against Baylor.

I have difficulty watching this year's team due to the turnover issue. They repeatedly try to force the ball to Audi even if she is triple teamed. How she even gets the ball sometimes is a tribute to how special she is. But, if we turn it over every other time we try to feed her, the result is similar to if she was a 30% shooter instead of a 60% shooter. If 3 opposing players are covering 1 player, that means 2 of our players have no one guarding them. And don't even get me started on the "bounce passes" to a post player who is being double or triple teamed...

I’m hoping some of it was awkwardness due to AJ not being in the lineup, trying not to go too hard on a short Houston squad, and there were a variety of lineups in this game that probably don’t play together again this year to get everyone more rest and some rotation players more experience. The announcers said that AJ was in the boot “out of an abundance of caution”, so I hope that proves to be the case and she’s back soon.

After the Colorado game, CBF made the comment that AJ was one of the players who was nursing an injury, along with Audi and Emily. My thought would be this was the game to rest her, knowing we could beat Houston without her, and we would need her for the Baylor game.

I agree, we had some rotations that we're off, and CBF made the comment on the radio that Addy playing the PG position was something they had not practiced, so that adds to the lack of cohesion.

Not every win is going to be pretty, but at the end of the day all that matters is the final score.

In my observations…most of the turnovers didn’t involve trying to feed Crooks. Some of them for sure, but there was definitely a variety!

I thought Kelsey Joens played her best game of her ISU career so far. Looked confident shooting it and was aggressive on both ends of the floor. This was a team win as Addy and Audi did not hit some shots they usually do. If they can get that kind of production out of Joens Harris and Ryan consistently and get your typically Audi and Addy games this team has the potential to make a run in March.
