If you haven't already watched today's press conference, I strongly encourage you to do so. TJ is so impressive to me, it's crazy. And I think this is one of the best press conferences I've ever seen.

There is so much admiration and respect for Iowa State from all around the league. I was watching a Cincinnati podcast today where the two hosts were saying that Iowa State is the program they hope to be in the future.

This is the 1st TJ weekly presser I've listened all the way through. It's ridiculously intense no wonder he gets the team to perform. No notes and he just handles it so well.

Imo he finds a great balance of being tough on the guys but also finding a way to acknowledge his appreciation for what they mean to him and the program.

In his post-game after KSU he called out specific issues but didn't throw players under the bus either; just that they demand better because they can do better.

D. Jackson mentioned in his interview that it's a very welcoming atmosphere and TJ has his back, etc.

This is like a proud dad moment for TJ. He is grateful for his players and fans, and we are grateful we have TJ as our coach. No matter how the rest of this season plays out, TJ has this program in a place to be nationally relevant each and every year. That's what any program wants to be, and he accomplished this in under 4 years.
