Behind you
If you were sleeping you probably wouldn’t feel it.

Have some coworkers out in New Jersey... they were on a call and apparently freaked out whilst on camera.

We had a 5.0 four years ago. I was on the basement and did not even feel it. People upstairs felt it strongly.

Interestingly, I felt many of the aftershocks that were in 3-4 range.

They were talking about it on Dan Patrick. Apparently it was felt in their studio.

All three cable news networks frantically covering it... lol. Meanwhile out West they're discussing the 4.8 magnitude quake...

How long before MAGA turns it into a terrorist attack and blames Biden?

Well, I'm about 45 minutes away from the epicenter and my house shook like the Hilton after a go-ahead 3 against Kansas. It seemed like it lasted 15 seconds but maybe it was less. I've narrowly missed earthquakes while traveling, for example, so this was my first. No serious damage anywhere near us.

In central Connecticut here, and it was a little tremor, but enough to make you stop and say, "Was that the wind or did I imagine it?"

I grew up in Connecticut and don't recall even hearing about the possibility of a quake.

I get it. It's just funny watching all the national news outlets (East Coast) devote nonstop coverage to it. The one that hit the Virginia/DC area in 2011 was 5.8.
Desperate for some real news. Last week the big national news was that it is said that Trump cheats at golf.

I have a bunch of co-workers in Philly, on a call this morning they were all asking each other if they felt it. Western suburbs didn't, those close to downtown Philly did.
I can assure you it was felt in the Western Suburbs of Philly.

Only other time we've had one felt up here was the one in 2011 where Virginia was the epicenter. I've been out here since 2010, and that's the only other time. That one I remember it felt like you had vertigo for about two seconds.

I believe you, 1 of the co workers lives in the same neighborhood as another. He felt it she didn't, probably was just distracted and thought a dump truck or something was driving by.

I should add some of these folks are a decent ways west, our office there is in Malvern.

Yeah, sorry that sounded more argumentative than I meant it.
I thought it was a huge truck too but then realized there was no truck noise.
My colleague in Scranton didn't notice it, but my colleague in CT did. Go figure.
