Not even sure what he did. Just heard there is an investigation. So what did he do
Jacked off on a camera to the very woman he brought to campus to talk to the team about the impact of sexual assault. He claims it was a mutual relationship which she denies and I believe her 100%. I have zero idea how you are going to prove it and with the money involved it’s going to get very ugly but he should be fired.

Big Ten teams basically have unlimited money to fire and hire coaches now. FFS they have 10 million more a year than even SEC teams to endlessly hunt for the ideal coach.

They all have amazing facilities already except for maybe Northwestern so it's not like there's some burning need to spend it all on facilities every year. My guess is at some point it won't just be Nebraska paying a stable of fired coaches simultaneously, it'll be a quite a few of the bottom half programs rolling the dice hoping they can capture some lightning in a bottle with a good hire.

I mean this would be a firing with cause that voids the contract. I just don’t really know how you prove this enough that contract lawyers don’t make an issue on it. If it progresses I imagine some form of buyout happens instead of some drawn out event.

It’s not funny, but good lord
I know it legit reads like a bad tv episode.

The good part is that most people want him gone so she shouldn’t come under attack like so many who come forward with accusations like this. The problem is getting enough proof to fire him. There has been a lot of smoke about this for a min so I assume he is gone but he might dig his heels in and really turn this ugly. I would hope the school has enough of a backbone to fire him regardless of the cost even if that means eating the remained of his contract.

To much money for him to not dig his heals in. I would guess a few texts between the two could probably show if they were in a relationship or if he was doing it without permission. Stupid of him but a possibility that he has a case to not be fired for cause. He has to prove it though. Still crazy creepy

Along the same lines, I bought bootleg Templeton rye (which is way smoother that the stuff on the shelf) delivered by a recovered alcoholic that would come to Ames to talk at AA meetings.

Lots of detail in this story. Sounds like the act took place on a phone call, not on camera, though there was at least one other somewhat inappropriate Facetime call.

The story describes a relationship that had started off professionally but veered toward the personal. And that part appears to have been consensual, up until some disputed point where he wanted more and she did not.

I imagine you have to let lawyers prep for this but he better be fired by Tuesday.

Regardless of if the relationship was consensual (which I doubt), he has to be fired given his position and her professional relationship with the school. Especially considering the sexual assault history within the University. They have to have a zero-tolerance policy

Plus with the victims background especially and what she was brought in to do
