Getting Porzingas was building around Luka. A five who can protect the rim and space is exactly the type of big you want to pair with Luka. Kleber is a poor man’s version of what they thought Porzingas would be for them. It just didn’t work out like they thought.

I think he would work better with a 5 that can clear space and set big screens. They should have tried to get Steven Adams.

Dallas had won 25 straight games whey they led by at least 10 points at any point during a game.

The Grizzlies had to bench Steven Adams in round one because the TWolves ran him off the court. Plus on offense if Adams is out there Luka now has another defender waiting for him in the lane every single time now. The Mavs had DeAndre Jordan , that’s who they traded for Porzingas, if they wanted a big dude to set screens and rebound, they already had him on the team.

For the last few years you’ve seen teams go five out and attack even the best defensive big guys, the Mavs themselves have ate up Goebert and Ayton in this playoffs by making them guard the 3 point line the whole time. Teams would put Adams and Doncic in pick and rolls over and over again.

Porzingas didn’t work out but it wasn’t because they weren’t trying to build around Luka. I think they just weren’t thinking unconventionally enough, in retrospect they should have been in the market for another wing and been willing to play even smaller and force teams to adjust to them.

Was wondering if we were going to have back to back nights of 20pt blown leads.

I tuned in just in time to see Smart do the bearhug move on Tucker.

Was it a good indication of how the first 47 and a half minutes went?

Two crazy stats:
Boston has led 10 of 12 qtrs against Miami but are down 2-1.
Stwph Curry is currently the leading rebounder in that series.

Doncic with a great qtr. Rest of the team needs to step up.

The thing with Draymond's T's is that they aren't done to aggravate another player, they're usually self inflicted because of refs.

That was O & B anyway. I don’t care what the announcers say.
