Looked like he was catching in the pen there? Was it before the game or during? If he’s the backup catcher then who cares he’s a legend now. He’s going to get a lot of social media and non-mainstream sports world attention.

Also, if he’s so inclined, he can claim cancel culture and really walk a path made of $100 bills.

If the kid claims it was water, he can probably skate with a short suspension.

There just no way you can be mad about this. Don't get me wrong, kid is stupid, but that's just objectively funny and shouldn't be shocking considering we're talking about college kids here. A suspension is warranted, but it shouldn't be the end of the world.
