Texas may still fire Shaka, but his buyout was something like 9 to 10 million. He might of benefitted from closing down the season more than anyone. If they did not make the tournament this season, he was most likely canned, but since we will never know, I would think they would give him another season to prove himself, and get another year off the buyout. They move into their new arena in 2 years, gives them time to still fire Shaka after next year, and hire a new coach to build excitement for the new arena.
