TCU just sagged and stopped it — it wasn’t like they stopped trying to feed him.

He had one touch before he was benched for conditt. The announcers even had to point out the horrible basketball. And how many wasted possessions of Nixon trying to shoot in between that? Force it in even if they stop it a few times.
