Testifying
Yep, Cam was at Monte's camp. He was very friendly and when I asked what he was up to he mentioned he was going to Orlando G league team or something like that.
OK. Did that happen to be at State or was it at the practice facility?

what, you never stopped into Beardshear for free hugs and pep talks?

Sadly no. But once I did get picked up by DPS outside Carver and escorted back to their offices in the Armory on a golf cart. That was kind of them.

We'll save those shenanigans for another day, but a good laugh was had by all, they gave me a slap on the wrist, and wished me best of luck on finals.

The problem with Nick’s initial video is not that he’s wrong about the subject matter. Most of it holds weight. Student athletes have to view their scholarship as a symbiotic relationship. The only way that works is personal accountability. The player he is describing, whether it’s Lard or not, did not hold themselves accountable. As someone who is not a fan of Prohm the coach, I can’t ignore all his attempts to hold Lard accountable. Lard was the one who continued to fall short of expectations time and time again. As a mentor, Nick has to do a better job of explaining to players that the race doesn’t end once you get the scholarship or begin to start for a high major team. If his intent was to help players get better prepared to be professionals, then he has to tell them that following team and university rules is the only sure way to get there.

I’m really not understanding all this non sense that Prohm ruined Lindell W and Lard career from some sources.. More so LW..

LW was never ever getting drafted his frosh year and his 2nd year he neglected to tell a single isu staff member that his foot hurt 9 months prior to the season.. then he proceeded to play all spring and summer on it... then season starts and he’s out 1/3 of season.. How any of that is on Prohm is just asinine..

Aren’t LW abs Lard doing what they always dreamed of? Lars getting paid overseas and LW is getting his shot in G league..

I have all kinds of coaching issues with Prohm but wanting what is best for his players is not even on my list..
Lard and LW living together was awful for both of them.

This thread came to my mind today as I was checking my podcasts feed. There hasn't been an All Ball podcast since these videos, supposedly unrelated to ISU, dropped...
